My Three Main Goals:
SUPPORT FAMILIES
Families are the heart of Clark County. Our County provides many services that are essential to family health, safety and happiness. We also need strong schools and educational opportunities, and every family needs a home that they can afford.
PROMOTE LOCAL BUSINESSES & JOBS
Clark County can still be a place where businesses want to locate and families want to live. If we plan ahead and build responsibly, we can create these thriving communities. We can have walkable communities with small businesses and family-wage jobs close to affordable homes -- and still be surrounded by beautiful open spaces and working family farms that maintain Clark County's unique rural economy.
BALANCED COMMUNITY GROWTH
Many families live in Clark County because of the wide open spaces and relaxing, rural charm. We can keep our rural character while promoting appropriate growth in our urban areas where our jobs are close to homes, services, and entertainment. All we have to do is try.
I will bring new expertise and leadership to the Clark County Council to work on these solutions, and provide a balanced, independent perspective, working closely with you to plan a better future for Clark County. Please see my press release here.
